European "F"-Gas Regulations,This legislation became law on the 4th July 2007 and imposes mandatory obligations on the "operators" of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment above a certain size. The regulations are quite lengthy but in brief they require all systems containing 3kg or more of refrigerant to under go a minimum annual service.
In addition, records must be maintained of all relevant repairs along with evidence of the contractors competence to carry out this type of work.
